Welcome to Jamrock!

Last year, I wrote a list of goals for 2013, one of which was to travel to Jamaica (I’ve never been). Hubby and I had an amazing cruise booked on Allure of the Seas, with a port stop in Falmouth, Jamaica. However, we reassessed our year and realized that we had too much on our plates, therefore waving buh-bye to Allure, Jamaica and my bucket-list item of climbing Dunn’s River Falls.

 

Lo and behold, one of the perks of my travel agent  status has allowed my goal of visiting Jamaica to become a reality. I was fortunate enough to be accepted on a FAM trip (FAM=Familiarization) sponsored by Sandals/Beaches/Grand Pineapple Resorts!! This is an amazing 7 day, 6 night trip in which I will be able to visit ALL of the resorts owned by the company on the island of Jamaica. I will be stayed at 3 separate resorts for 2 nights, plus an excursion (which likely could be Dunn’s River Falls) is included. Not to mention, I will become a Sandals Certified Specialist in the process! This is a wonderful opportunity and I am so thankful to be part. I’m currently sitting in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport awaiting my connection to Montego Bay and am bursting with excitement (which is saying a lot, as I only slept 3 hours last night).

I will report on this trip upon its completion — I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned when I get back!
